RIP: Floppy discs
Just read that Sony will stop making floppy discs some time next year.
While reading about the announcement, I remembered great times with floppy discs. My first computer was a Tandy 1000 RL.
I used to play “Double Dare” for hours on that machine.
I used floppy discs until the end of high school.
They certainly have a place in history.
